Anniversary
Fifteen years of the Pöchhacker Detective Agency
The detective agencies in Austria have a good reputation, likely because special emphasis is placed on selection and training. Passing a detective exam is no small feat. Men have been applying in increasing numbers, and in recent years, women too, but many simply don’t make it.
Walter Pöchhacker is among the top talents in this industry. He appears calm, a conscientious, thoroughly honest person who, when the situation demands, can muster tremendous energy and demonstrate remarkable assertiveness. The tall man exudes confidence. It’s easy to imagine clients placing their trust in him. But behind the “teddy bear facade” lies a wealth of expertise, diligence, perseverance, knowledge, and seriousness.
However, a man like Walter Pöchhacker is not just a detective. One senses upon meeting him that he has retained his idealism and belief in the victory of the just cause. That’s why I find him likable. I admire and respect him as a “good man” and as a professional.
I extend my warmest congratulations to him, his detective agency, Detektivagentur Pöchhacker Ges.m.b.H., his capable wife, and his employees on their anniversary. As men, we know that behind every successful man is a capable woman. In this case, I have the impression that it’s certainly true.
