Hotel Security | Security Staff | Doorman (m/w)

Full or part time

– GENERAL –

We are looking for a reliable and professional Doorman to join our security team on weekends in a 5-star luxury hotel in Vienna city centre. As a Doorman you will be the first point of contact for guests and contribute significantly to the security and positive guest experience.

Position: Doorman / Security Guard
Work location: 1010 Vienna, renowned 5-star luxury hotel
Core working hours: 20 to 40 hours per week – variable from Thursday to Sunday from approx. 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Remuneration: € 12.92 gross/hour plus bonuses
Promotion opportunity: transfer to operational detective service (department stores’ detective, observations and investigations, personal protection, etc.)

– SKILLS & EXPERIENCE –

Tasks:

Reception and greeting of guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Monitoring the entrance and lobby to prevent unauthorised access.
Performing security patrols of the entrance and other public areas of the hotel.
Assisting with emergencies and security incidents in accordance with hotel policy.
Prevent criminal offences and enforce house rules

Requirements:

Experience in security or customer service, preferably in the hotel industry or a similar environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols is a plus.
Good physical condition to meet the physical demands of the position.
Fluency in German and English, other languages are a plus.
